How do instructors set course prices?

You set the price for each course and can update it for future purchases. During beta, SkillAmpify does not set a minimum or maximum course price.

How does the revenue share work?

You receive 80% of net revenue from each eligible paid enrollment; SkillAmpify retains 20%. Stripe processing fees are deducted from the payment first, and Tutor LMS applies the 80/20 split to the remaining amount. Discounts, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and other transaction adjustments may also affect net revenue. See the [Instructor Earnings and Payout Policy] for the complete definition and an example.

How are student payments processed?

Students pay through SkillAmpify checkout using WooCommerce and Stripe. Course access is granted only after Stripe confirms a successful payment. Failed, canceled, incomplete, or otherwise unsuccessful payments do not automatically provide course access.

When and how do instructors get paid?

Earnings remain pending for seven days before becoming available. Once you have at least $100 in available earnings, you can submit a withdrawal request. SkillAmpify reviews the request and sends approved payouts manually. A refund, dispute, reversal, or problem with payout information may delay or reduce the affected amount.

Why is there a seven-day waiting period?

The seven-day waiting period allows time to review payments, refunds, disputes, and errors before earnings become available for withdrawal.

What happens after a refund or chargeback?

The affected sale is removed from eligible earnings. If it was already paid, an adjustment may be made against future earnings. Amounts tied to unresolved disputes may be held while the dispute is reviewed. See the Instructor Earnings and Payout Policy.

Do I need my own Stripe account?

No. Students pay through SkillAmpify checkout; SkillAmpify administers instructor payouts during beta.

Are instructor payouts automatic?

No. Earnings are calculated through Tutor LMS, but you must reach $100 in available earnings, complete the seven-day waiting period, and submit a withdrawal request. SkillAmpify then reviews the request and sends an approved payout manually. Student enrollment automation is a separate feature.

How is my banking information handled?

You enter and manage your banking information through your instructor account. The information is encrypted while stored in the website database. SkillAmpify's administrative withdrawal-request view displays masked banking details. Banking information associated with your account is removed when the account is deleted, subject to any records that must be retained for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or financial-recordkeeping purposes. Do not send banking details by ordinary email.

What taxes am I responsible for?

You are responsible for taxes on your earnings. SkillAmpify may request tax details and issue required forms where applicable. Contact a tax professional for your circumstances.

Will direct or instant payouts be offered later?

We may add more payout methods as the platform develops. We will notify instructors before a change takes effect.
